SONS OF REFLECTED LIGHT: In Taoist tradition, a mysterious group of giants who settled in CHINA some ten thousand years ago. Nothing is known of their origins or their fate. The Sons of Reflected Light are believed to have introduced many important technologies to CHINA including metallurgy, ceramics, glass-blowing and the manufacture of silk and gunpowder. They are also thought to have introduced the basic principles of Chinese medicine. They were called Sons of Reflected Light because of the clothing they wore. (See also T'ai Chi article).
